Customs are shields, covers, blankets that are designed to
cover items other than standard flanges, valves, and expansion
joints. Customs are available in both standard and
non-standard materials in solid colors, clear, or with clear
windows.
Fitting Shields install around pipe fittings such as tees, elbows,
unions, etc. Covers for actuators and instrumentation protect
expensive and delicate equipment from corrosive environments.
Pipe End Covers & Relief Covers install over pipe ends and
vent outlets on safety relief valves and rupture discs to keep
out rain, snow, animals, and insects. Hose Covers and Pipe
Covers are made in a wraparound or tube style design to
protect hoses from abrasion and protect employees from leaks
or sprays.
Blankets are heat and thermal covers that have insulation
inside to protect employees from burns and hot piping.
Insulation will also decrease drastic changes in piping
temperature, and prevent failure in plastic lined pipe, expansion
joints, and fittings.
