Marine Roll Shields are used whenever a "cut to length" type of shielding is necessary. They are designed to wrap around flanges, valves, fittings, and any type of pipe or tube connection in marine, maritime, ship building and repair, and military applications.  Commonly referred to as Navy Roll Shields and Marine Sray Shields their sole purpose is to temporarily contain and deflect leaks of pressurized fluids and flammables for fire and safety protection.  Marine Roll Shields are specified for use in liquid piping systems to prevent the impingement of flammable liquid on hot surfaces or fluids onto electrical switchboards and components.

Drake Specialties proudly manufactures Marine Roll Spray Shields in the USA from fire resistant aluminized fiberglass fabrics, and silicone coated fiberglass fabrics in 30' long rolls, strictly following military specifications ASTMF 1138 guidelines, and economical non-military specifications.  Widths range from 2" through 12".

Proper installation of Drake Specialties Marine Roll Shields requires stainless steel wire, clamps, and lacing hooks or rings for installation.
